Responsibilities
- Conduct first-level and/or second-level review of documents for responsiveness, relevance, privilege, confidentiality, and issue identification.
- Review and code electronic documents using industry-leading eDiscovery platforms and established review protocols.
- Support various stages of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), including document review, quality control, data validation, and production preparation.
- Identify and escalate potentially privileged, confidential, or key documents as appropriate.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency while reviewing large volumes of electronically stored information (ESI).
- Utilize technology-assisted review tools, analytics, search functionality, and workflow management tools when applicable.
- Meet productivity and quality benchmarks while adhering to project guidelines and client requirements.
- For certain opportunities, support eDiscovery workflows including data processing, database administration, exception handling, production management, and quality control activities.
- Communicate effectively with legal teams, project managers, and stakeholders regarding review protocols, workflow issues, and project status.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in document review, eDiscovery, litigation support, legal operations, or related legal technology roles.
- Experience with eDiscovery and document review platforms such as Relativity, Relativity Processing, Everlaw, DISCO, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with EDRM principles, document production workflows, and quality control processes.
- Experience identifying responsiveness, relevance, privilege, and confidentiality issues during review.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a remote environment.
- Experience with litigation support tools, transcript management platforms, advanced text editors, or legal case management technologies is a plus.
- Associate degree, bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
